LUMEN CURRENT

Home EV charging

Charge at home, with the right capacity behind it.

We survey the parking position, the existing supply and the way you actually use the car before recommending a charger. Prices below include installation and testing.

What it costs

Three installations that cover most homes.

Each price includes the unit, up to ten metres of cable run, protection at the board, testing and handover. Longer runs and supply upgrades are quoted separately after the survey.

From €1,250

Basic 7.4 kW

Single-phase wall unit, fitted and tested. Adds roughly 40 km of range per hour. Right for most households charging overnight.

From €1,550

Smart 7.4 kW

The same speed with scheduling, app control and consumption data, so you can charge on your cheapest tariff hours.

From €1,890

Three-phase 11 kW

For three-phase supplies and higher daily mileage. Roughly three times the speed of a domestic socket-based solution.

Installed around the home

Neat outside, properly protected inside.

The visible charger is only the end of the job. We plan the route, protection and testing at the board so the installation is safe, practical and ready for the way you charge.

Why quotes differ

Four things that move the price.

If another quote is much cheaper or much dearer than ours, it is almost always one of these.

Distance from the board

The single biggest cost after the charger itself. A garage next to the consumer unit is cheap. A parking space forty metres away, through a wall and under a drive, is not.

Your available capacity

Many older Antwerp homes have a supply that will not carry a car and an oven at once. We measure it rather than assume, and load management is often cheaper than a supply upgrade.

Single or three phase

Three-phase supplies charge faster and cost a little more to install. If you have it, it is usually worth using.

Earthing arrangement

Some installations need additional earth protection before an outdoor charger is safe. We check this at survey, not on the day.

How the job runs

Survey, quote, install.

01

Home survey

We look at the parking position, the cable route, your consumer unit and the capacity of your supply. This is the step that decides whether a charger is straightforward or not.

02

Clear recommendation

You get a charger that suits how far you actually drive, the installation price, and an honest note if your supply needs upgrading first.

03

Install and hand over

Neat installation, earth and RCD protection tested, a walkthrough of the app and settings, and the certificate for your records.

A charger installation is a notifiable job. The inspection by an accredited body is arranged by us and the report is handed to you on completion.

Book a survey

Tell us where the car parks and we will tell you what it takes.

Send your address, the parking position and the car you drive. Most EV surveys are booked within a week, and the quote follows within two working days of the visit.
