LUMEN CURRENT

About Lumen Current

The technical part of the home, made understandable.

We work with homeowners who would rather understand an electrical decision than simply be told it is fine.

How we work

Electrical work goes wrong in the planning, not the wiring.

Almost every difficult job we are called into started the same way: nobody checked the capacity, nobody agreed the scope, and the cost only became clear once the walls were open.

We do the boring part first. We measure what the supply can carry, we look at the board before we quote the room, and we put the number in writing while you can still change your mind about it.

That approach costs us a few jobs to cheaper verbal quotes. It also means we very rarely have to go back to a customer and ask for more money halfway through.

We cover Antwerp and its districts, Mechelen, Brasschaat and Schoten, and we hand over the inspection paperwork on every notifiable job we complete.

What you can hold us to

Registered contractor

A registered electrical contractor working to AREI on every installation.

Inspection arranged

Conformity inspection by an accredited body, booked and attended by us.

Quotes in two days

Written quotes returned within two working days of the survey.

Insured

Public liability cover in place on every job we take on.

Safety first, and not as a slogan

We assess the supply, the earthing and the protection, not just the fitting you asked about. If something upstream is unsafe, you will hear it from us even when it is not the job you called about.

Advice you can act on

We separate what needs attention now from what can wait two years, and we say which is which. A priority list is more useful than a long quote.

Tidy completion

Cable routes, making good and the handover paperwork are part of the job, not an afterthought. You should not be able to tell where we worked.

Working with us

Start with the survey and judge us on the quote.

The survey is free within our area and you are under no obligation after it. Read how the quote is written, see whether the priorities make sense, and decide from there.
